THMUs

For those not oriented with the W@W abbreviations, THMU stands for Trial Hair and Make Up.

From Make Up Your Mind:
This was last Dec. 4. The make up that they used are:
Primer - VOV
Foundation - Max Factor (liquid - color adapt)
Powder Blush - VMV
Eyeshadow - Body Shop
Face powder - VMV

Lasting din naman yung make-up nila, but I think they overdid the concealer. Not really happy with my hair. I guess if you really wanna make sure of how they do your hair, have a mirror with you at all times! :-)





















Ara Fernando

I had my THMU with Ara last Dec. 16, 2005. She went to my friend's office (wala kasi boss nya) for our trials (my friend's also a b2b)Anyways, I think she's really good.

She used these brands for my make-up (those that I remember):
Cream Blush - Bloom
Eyeliner - Benefit
Eye shadow - 3 shades of MAC (loose powder)
Loose Powder - MAC
Mascara - Body Shop

For the cream foundation, I dunno what's the brand (Laura Mercier, I think), but she tends to mix colors to get the right shade for you. Same is true for the lipstick. I told her I want the glam look, and I don't want my make up to be simple. And I got what I wanted! Yey!

My Wedding Gown by Veluz

Ok, so it's like my 2nd time to go to a designer.

First one being Lyle Cruz, in far-far away Baliwag, Bulacan. Yeah, she sketched a design that's close to a gown I had in mind. She's also a close friend of my cousin, and from the gowns she's currently making (or sewing?!?) they look good. She charged me reasonably for my gown and the whole entourage, but with the high prices of gasoline (and NLEX toll), it's pretty much practical if I get a designer close to home...

So then came Veluz Reyes. She's also from Las Pinas (City of Love and Progress), so I went to her house (only 15 minutes from ours) and asked her if she could sketch me a gown. She made 2 designs. Both are gorgeous, but I like this better.

My dear BFF, Chichibu, is in town. Time for Daemonita and me to be cam-whores once again. Our cam-whore mode is only activated whenever Chichibu is in our midst.

But then again, shall I say, that we should indeed nurture the inner thespians in us. Look at how the pictures tell the story of our possession (Sadako BFFs), our naivety (Innocent look), our heartbreaks (Lovelorn), and our grief (Crying ladies)! Gawd, we're sooo good.
