planet QT comeback...

after a hiatus of 3 years, i had a sudden urge to start blogging again. why? well, back home in the philippines, typhoon ondoy caused a great flood and wreaked havoc in urban areas that were usually flood-free. i just feel so sorry for those people who have lost their loved ones, specially children who have no capabilities to save themselves from the strong water current. and also for those who have lost their homes, cars and other belongings, which they have painstakingly saved up for.



so i figured, if i die or if i lose all my worldly belongings, at least i have my own little spot here in cyberspace, which won't go... unless blogger goes bankrupt.

time to re-live my 2007, 2008 and 2009 memories...

After 3 years

wow! a new blog entry after 3 long years... and i don't know what to say...

except that tomorrow is prez cory's burial, and while i watched today's news i really felt the outpouring of love, gratitude and respect for tita cory... i just want to say that eventhough i don't know her or haven't met her personally, i will forever remember her and what she stands for. peace out, tita cory.

Dubai Honeymoon

My husband surprised me (or so i'd like to think...) with an overnight stay at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. He has been telling me about that "surprise" since I arrived here in Dubai last Aug 17, but after going home at 4:20am (he had a gimik with his officemates), he immediately booked us at weekend. Talk about timing!!!

Arabian Night-Out

What started out as a normal desert safari turned out to be a fantastic arabian night-out!

We headed off to the Hatta desert, had the usual dune-bashing first (i almost threw up!), then went to the camp where we had dinner (yummy arabian food!), henna painting, and costume changes.
